San Angelo is a larger town than we knew. There are many oil wells along the way. We chose to take US 67 all the way home because it leads to Midlothian. Had discovered that 67 runs all the way from Presidio to northern Illinois almost to the Wisconsin border. We tried to get a campsite in the State Park on Lake Nasworthy, but it was full because it is the weekend. We found a RV park just outside the State Park which was very nice. All the RV parks are full of oilfield workers. It is really booming all along this area for oil wells. We saw some really nice deer in the park. Even a nice buck. Heading home tomorrow!
