Bar Harbor, Maine

Today we drove from New Hampshire and then across Maine to Bar Harbor. The foliage has more red then previously. One thing that I have noticed are all of the cemetaries along the roadways. They are very old and many very old white churches with tall steeples. There is also a lot of logging all across the USA. We have seen so many logging trucks. We found out why we haven't seen any moose. I saw one in the back of a guys truck. I guess it is moose season!!!! It was a huge bull moose. We drove through much road construction. At one place, I thought maybe we were back in Canada or Alaska. We drove Hwy 2 to Bangor Maine and then turned down. We have a beautiful campsite. We can see the Narrows from out camper window. It is so nice. We drove around a bit after we set up the camper. We are going after Lobster or clam chowder soon. Will tour Acadia Ntl. Park tomorrow.
