I just got back from Chiang Mai last weekend. It was INSANE amazing! I stayed in the Old City for Friday and Saturday nights and then during the day, I took tours up two major mountains in Chiang Mai. One of which is the tallest point in Thailand. Normally I am a beach person, but everyone told me that Chiang Mai was incredible, so I had to check it out myself. It blew me away. I saw some of the most beautiful scenery that I have seen since this summer. I still prefer the beaches, but I would love to go back to Chiang Mai in the future. In reflecting about this trip, I really realized just how incredible Thailand is. You have the crazy city life of one of the world's largest cities, yet an hour flight in either direction can take you to some of the most beautiful beaches, or mountains that exist on this earth. I thank God everyday that I wake up for the opportunity to be here experiencing what I am and seeing what I am. We truly have an Amazing and loving God who wants people to enjoy the world and see the power of His hands. You need look no further than Thailand to see proof that our God is an AWESOME God.
