A Brief word on my time in Australia - I only spent a week there as I have already spent a load of time in countries that are if not as expensive as England then not really as cheap and i only really went there to meet my brother who is over there on holiday at the moment.

First of i spent a few days in Sydney and saw the sights, i.e. the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. I also went to the zoo to see koalas, Duck-Billed Platypuses and the like. It was also nice to be back in the warmth again, Although the weather in New Zealand wasn't bad it was sometimes a bit chilly.

I then flew up to Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast for the weekend. At first it seemed a really bad name for the place as it was raining heavily and carried on that way for the rest of the day. It did clear up for the rest of the weekend though and I had a great time at Australia Zoo - shame there was no appearance from Steve Irwin though !!
