Where I stayed
Ko Tao Diving Resort
Well, im sorry to say i have been very slack at keeping this website up to date. so this is a catch up again from the last few weeks or so.........
Here goes.....We left Ko samui after a week or so doing nothing but eating, sunbathing and drinking! what a life hey!! We missed the full moon party in Ko Pan yang because the weather turned for the worst, and there was no boats from Ko samui going over, so Ko Samui had there own full moon party which was just as good im sure!! Went to Ko pan yang the following day for a few days. It wasnt what i had expected at all, and the beaach where they hold the full moon party on with 30,000 others was so small i couldnt beleive it. We had a party there that night which was really good though with fire dancers and all that stuff on the beach. The buckets of alchohol was going down to fast, along with all the other backpackers that were still there from the night before!!!!!
We hired motor bikes again and rode all around the island. Its really big, with lots of hills, just like Sheffield! We went to some amazing waterfalls, and beaches along the way! Stopped off and had lunch at a small thai village with the locals which was really nice. My god, ive eaten things i thought i never would.......
Goodbye Ko pan yang, hello to Ko Tao which is the scuba diving paradise of Thialand! Stayed here for 5 days and did a scuba diving course. Was absolutley brilliant, i couldnt do it at first, and clearing your mask full of water deep down under the sea was a total nightmare but i managed to do it after spending hours and hours in the sea drinking gallons of water. It was all worth it though. Whale Sharks were in the water which i am told are very very rare in the world and there havent been any sightings of them in any part of Thailand for the last 5 years, so it must of been Ko Taos turn. They were amazing to see, along with all the other amazing reefs and corals that we saw. I didnt know there was that many different types of fish in the world!!!!
After leaving Ko Tao, we headed South of Thailnad again a full day travelling on boats, mini vans and songthaws to a little island in the middle of nowhere called Railley. The only way to get to the island was on longtail boats which took about an hour
Railley was wicked. The most chilled out place i have been so far. Its all Thai africans that live there, so as you can imagine, no police, just people walking around smoking the local delicacy! Its also a climbers paradise, with rocks so big sticking out all over the beach, its kinda being stranded on a deserted beach! Or more like ship wrecked!!!! We were here for a week and again didnt really do a lot apart from sun bathe and go on lots of island trips. we went to Aou nang, which was beautiful and brilliant for snorkelling. And another little isaland called An nammo, which was gorgeous too.
After leaving chilled Railley, i had a pit stop in Kualalumper and back to Singapore to sunny Perth Oz. Where im now at untill the 4th Jan. Im staying with my friend who i met in Ibiza 15 years ago. we were wild and free then!! now she is married with 3 gorgeous little boys under 4 years old, so ive had lots of fun so far!! Xmas day was mad with all the toys and kids everywhere!! It was 36 degrees here yesterday, and i had Turkey....with gravy.... and veg......so it felt like home, just untill the barbie came out later.........
Well, im going to finish there and hope that you have all had a lovely xmas too. Have a fantastic new year, and i will keep you updated when i head up to Darwin on the 4th Of Jan
I have started to put some photos online now so go back through the other entries and have a look. they are all a bit jumbled up, so i will have to bore you all with them when i get back.
