Song for the first six months: Mad world - Gary Jules

"All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow"

As a tribute to the first six months I have made a list of the 10 things I have learnt so far and added photos from my favourite moments.

1. Most things worth seeing in involve stairs or hills

2. People on mass can be very cruel and stupid

3. You can always survive with less than you think

4. All your neuroses are amplified when you are out of your comfort zone

5.  The one thing I can't survive without (besides air, water and food) is friendship

6. Your mother isn't always right (apparently she has been telling me that for years)

7. H&M is taking over the world

8. I will go a long way out of my way to see cute furry animals

9.  Every race, religion, society is a hypocrite, including myself.

10.  English will get you nearly anywhere in the world (money will get you the rest of the way)
