Tuesday. Today we went to a fund raiser for the "Abaco Rage", a Class A Bahamian racing sloop. Had great bbq chicken and corn and some awesome rum punch. We finally got to meet a neat lady named Di at the party. She is the 84 year old owner and skipper of a Gemini catamaran that she leaves in Hopetown all year and lives aboard. She does fly to MA each Christmas to be with her kids and grand kids. Her boat is called "Caesar's Ghost", named after her departed black Lab. We saw her boat in the harbor last year but never got to meet her. She's a true inspiration.
