Thursday we left bound for Black Point with a 20 knot breeze on the nose and squalls. We were glad we only had to go 7 miles south of us. This settlement is very friendly. It has the largest population after George Town, two great restaurants and a little grocery store. We were in luck today, the supply freightor pulled up to the dock as soon as we anchored and before long the grocery store announced on the VHF radio that they now had fresh veggies & produce. We had fun at happy hour at Scorpios - $2 wines and $3 beers! Then we walked to DeShamon's for some lobster and Mahi. This community takes their sailboat racing very seriously. There are hand made boats (made without the use of power tools) everywhere. Wish we could stay longer. Tomorrow we will do laundry and plug in our waypoints for the run to Georgetown on Saturday. We'll be in touch.
