We watched three kite sailors in the turquoise shallows this morning. We took the dingies to a shallow reef about a mile away and got to snorkel. I used the lookie bucket which works great. Coming back to the anchorage we saw a large ketch from Bellaire MI and stopped to chat. Denny yelled "Isn't Bellaire the home of Shorts Brewery?" The skipper's wife said "this must be the boat from Boyne Falls." We talked for a few minutes and they too are on their way to Georgetown. We were both pretty amazed to come this far and run into someone from a few miles from our home. Next exciting thing we did is to sit in the cockpit and watch all the activity around this 210 foot motor yacht just outside the entrance to the anchorage. Their stern opened up and swallowed jet skis, a trampoline and two 20' tenders. There was also a helicopter circling above it. We came to the conclusion that since this has been going on all afternoon, they are probably filming a movie. The helicopter hovers over the trampoline while someone is jumping on it. We can't believe how good this salt air is for our bodies. Our toe nails are pink and clear and look like a baby's. Our hair is soft and conditioned and our skin is soft. Plus all the vitamin D from the sun helps prevent osteoporosis.
