Thursday-Friday, Feb. 9 & 10 - Shopping at last! A mutual friend of Stan & Kathy's, Larry, keeps his sailboat in a small marina 2 canals from us and offered to take us grocery shopping today, since he also has his car here. Thank you Larry. We were running low on everything. Later we were all invited to a bbq at his boat. The marina also has a pool and a cabana with grill. It was a fun evening. Friday morning it rained hard. Later we took our dingies to the park nearby and walked the famous Lauderdale mile across the street from the ocean. We stopped for a cold brew and sandwiches at H2O. We sure got our exercise today. I think we walked over 4 miles and then on the way back to the boats, it rained again.
