Up anchor at 9 a.m. and tied up at Old Port Cove marina at 9:30 am next to Moonride on Sunday. Den discovered our 1983 hot water heater was leaking and the bottom was rusted straight through. So we contacted the marina's contractor and he ordered a replacement for us. Only problem is the old one is too large to fit through the cockpit locker. They must've built the boat around it! So the contractor loaned us his saw-z-all and Denny proceeded to demolish the old one in pieces to remove it. The contractor said he'd have us a new water heater sometime today and hopefully he'll install it today or Wednesday. Meantime Stan & Kathy are getting their windlass repaired and all new lifelines just 5 miles away. We'll get it together soon.
