We left Loggerhead Marina in Stuart at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 24 on a sunny warm day with a light southeast breeze and motored to Lake Worth. We had to open 7 bridges and wait for 1/2 hour for two of them since they are timed. The mansions lining the ICW on Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island are ostentatious. Even cousin Celion Dion has a home on Jupiter. We traveled with Lee and Nancy Meadows on their Beneteau 37 "Moonride". We arrived at the anchorage at 2:30 pm between Jack Nichlaus' yacht and Tiger's yacht (again). Got the hook down and drinks poured and waited for the sunset. Lake Worth's anchorage is a poor man's Shangri-la surrounded by mansions and high rises. The weather is supposed to deteriorate over the next several days so we may be here for a few. Not a bad place to stay til we can move further down state. Will write more with updates later. Check out some pictures below.
