Wednesday, April 6 - Dale on Allegria and Jack on Odyssey arrived last weekend. We are planning to leave tomorrow morning and will head for Great Sale Cay and anchor. Then on Friday leave in the afternoon for Port St. Lucie, near Stuart FL, arriving Saturday afternoon. The window as of right now is looking pretty good. We've enjoyed this trip so much. We feel so fortunate to be here surrounded by all this beauty. Words cannot do this justice. We already have plans for next year. Each Cay is so very different. It's hard to pick a favorite. Hopetown with its candy striped Elbow Cay Reef lighthouse and picturesque village; Treasure Cay with its famous emerald green and aquamarine waters that fade into powdered sand and home to one of the most magnificent beaches in the world; Great Guana Cay, the largest of all the Abaco Cays and home to Nipper's Beach Bar & Grill and Grabbers Beach Bar & Grill and an incredibly beautiful 7 mile stretch of beach; Green Turtle Cay, one of the earliest settlements and cleanest villages anywhere and Man-o-War Cay and its peace and tranquility and gentle pace of life. They all offer something.
Our weather has been fantastic. We had storms roll through yesterday with high winds and lightning but that was the only day and we all were safe in Black Sound. We will be out of touch until we reach Florida's shores and will update everyone once we arrive.
