Monday, March 21 - Today was very breezy, but sunny and warm. We needed gas for our generator and outboard and there is no gas on the island, so Denny took our 5 gal. jerry can and Chad took his propane tank for his stove over to the supply barge. They took them to Marsh Harbor and returned them in the afternoon. Denny put the finishing touches on one of his conch shells and began a two hour practice session. In the beginning he sounded like a wounded moose, but pretty soon the sound was beautiful, like he was playing a French horn. Charlie on his trawler Bama Belle from Mobile showed up today. We met him in Hopetown. We had a sundown get together on the porch and it was the most beautiful one yet. See the picture below, courtesy of Dan from s/v About Time. He had a great camera.
