What a lovely place to stay

. Then it was time for the movie a short walk to a paved parking lot next to the beach. This couple put up a 10'x10' screen on their old van with a great sound system. The tourists in the nearby condos bring their golf carts and sit in rows while we borrowed some chairs from the Cocoa Beach bar and sat in the front row. They even had a concession stand with popcorn and soft drinks. The movie was really good, no wonder it won best picture. By 11 pm it was time to make our way back to the dingy dock. We gave Dale & Mercedes a tow back to their boat since he was rowing and hadn't put his outboard on the dingy as yet. Soon we were snug down below as it howled outside. Denny did some research on the Crystal Caves of Abaco and blue holes and found a great 16 minute Hi Def video if you want to check it out. http://www.motuiti.com/Abacomovie/Crystal.html
They say that this underwater realm is what inspired James Cameron's Avatar. The caves are everywhere in the Bahamas, including here on Treasure Cay.
Tuesday, March 1 - We were up early again and took the dingy ashore for showers and what is turning into a routine - strong black coffee at Captain Forty's bakery. Walked over to the beach to make sure it was just as beautiful as yesterday then we went back to the boat and scrubbed it inside and out. After lunch we took our dingy and met up with Chad & Julie and toured the canals and some beautiful homes and boats. Later we plan to go to the BBQ at the Cocoa Beach Bar and then the drive-in movie. This week's feature is "The King's Speech." The food was great, bbq ribs or chicken or pork, sweet corn on the cob, beans and salads. Following dinner the entertainment followed with a local singer. Somehow Julie & I ended up participating in musical chairs. I haven't played that in a very long time. So about 20 of us danced around the plastic chairs and eventually only two were left and Julie was one of them. She ended up runner up and won a drink on the house. Dale picked his wife Mercedes up at the Marsh Harbor airport and met us for dinner
