We motor sailed the ICW from Stuart yesterday and are anchored in Lake Worth close to West Palm Beach, a very popular spot for cruisers waiting to leave for the Bahamas. The trip down here was a fast one with 25-30 mph winds out of the NW. We had to have 7 bridges open for us and were among 5 other sailboats and a trawler all headed south. Today we have sunny skies and a high of 70. The forecast is for winds out of the N/NW through all of next week. We will stay here til early in the week and then head outside and sail along the coast down to Lauderdale, where we will wait for winds out of the S/SW. There are 23 bridges that we need to open along the ICW from West Palm to Fort Lauderdale, which is way too many. So for now we have the generator to give us power and are anchored next to Seahawk. This mooring field is in between Tiger Woods yacht called "Privacy" and Jack Nicholas's home and yacht. Pretty pricey company.
