March 16, 2010 - Went to see Arlo Guthrie and family. It was awesome! His whole family performed with him, 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We cracked up at the two guys from Michigan sitting next to us. They talked like Cheech & Chong reminiscing about old MC5 concerts.

We attended another Art Fair in Stuart with Karen & Richard. This one had stilt walkers and live music in addition to all the booths set up. Then on March 21 we went with Linda & Paul to Nettles Island for their spring festival. Danced to the oldies and a really good band in the main tent and drank $1.00 beers and $1.00 glasses of wine. Linda's 92 year old Mom lives on the island and we visited with her for a while, then as soon as the thunderstorm ended, Linda went to get her and she joined us in the fun. She really enjoyed getting out on the dance floor!

On March 26 we went with Paul & Linda to watch Paul's senior softball playoff game at 8 a.m. Afterwards they took us to Archie's, a well known biker bar on Hutchinson Island where we had great burgers.

Today we woke up to find a 35 foot Hunter docked in between Off Islander and Trefoil that was dismasted. They came in under their own power last night and after speaking with the skipper, we found out that he was motor sailing down the ICW about 30 miles north of here and wasn't watching and hit a marker and the sheets got caught on it and it took the mast down. What a sad sight to see. He said he just bought the boat, a 1986, and was transporting it from Jacksonville to Pensacola and was not paying close enough attention and the sail hid the marker. Hate when that happens.

Ahhh now this is what retirement should be...one long glorious vacation!! I would have loved to see Arlo Guthrie perform with his family. Sweet.
