2) Before dinner we headed to STUDIO for a beverage and then headed to VENI MANGE for dinner. The food was very good and the atmosphere awesome. They had condoms on a bowl when we walked in, so I put them on each of our plates before we sat down. They provided some good entertainment through-out the evening.
3) We went to 3 pan yards after dinner: the Playboyz, Modern Aires, and then the absolutely amazing SILVER STARS. I believe they are a group of 120 members. Too wild. Check out the videos. They had one guy who was conducting that was wicked. Sooooo much energy and charisma. There were also these 2 little guys who were hilarious just playing around and having a blast.
4) The night involved many CARIG, STAG, and RUM. Was a beautiful festive evening!!!!
The best was leaving our friend PATSY with a 5 pack of condoms in his hand wondering what to do with them.

Note that the condoms are so prominent because, during the Carnival season, a lot "goes on" with all the drinking and cavorting. A very high incidence of HIV is found in Trinidad and Tobago and one effort to stem the spread is by having condoms freely and readily available. It also slows down the birth rate of "Carnival babies" 9 months later.
