well, it took 6 days and 1977 miles but we are finally ready to embark on our 2nd leg of Route 66. Red barns and leaning water towers...here we come.
PS-we didn't eat the. 72 oz. steak at the Big Texan Steak Ranch.

I looked up Groom, TX tonight and now I want to see it myself. What a moving experience that must have been. Sounds like they plan, or hope to build more of them around the country. Maybe there will be one closer some day soon.
