I took my 2 Girls, Brittany & Kailey, back to Maui for Spring Break. We were all feeling a little homesick.
The humidity hit us as soon as we entered baggage claim at Kahului Airport.

We went to our favorite place to eat on the island ... Aloha Mixed Plate on Front Street in Lahaina. My youngest , Kailey really missed their breaded teriyaki, and I just love their thai noodles. Mmmm Mmmm Good

Brit arrived on the island and immediately was whisked away by her best friends.

I was excited to be there during the winter season because the whales were here and from my Mom's House on Front Street, you could sit out in the back yard and watch them play. It's so cool. Kailey loves it when they flap their fins, it looks like they are waving Hi.

I'm ashamed to admit that besides hanging out at my Mom's pool with friends and family, all we did is eat.
We all had missed the foods we had become accustomed to and loved.

Our favorite recommendations for you when on Maui are:
The SmokeHouse in Lahaina - Joe's Corn Bread w/ Macadamia Honey Butter is "Ono" (Delicious)
Wei Wei in Wailuku - Their Chicken Katsu & House Cake Noodle is yummy.
Alexander's in Kihei - Fish to die for !
Aloha Mixed Plate in Lahaina - The Shoyu Chicken, Kalbi Ribs, Teriyaki & Mahi plate is very good !
