I was so so excited to leave our hotel the next morning! I don't think that I will ever be returning to the Howard Johnson in Southington, CT ever again. Let's just say that it was not the cleanest of rooms and we had to change rooms. When we left I didn't look back and I think it may have ruined Connecticut for me forever.

Next we traveled south through New Jersey where we accepted the invitation that friends of ours had extended to us to stay there and drove to their house to stay the night. Our bible student friends Robert and Rebbecca Gray were so nice and gracious. When we got to their house they welcomed us with open arms and fed us a delicious lunch. I got to try lox for the first time and these crackers with sunflower and pumpkin seeds, yum. After lunch we settled in to unpack and fellowship. Later we had dinner and then got ready to go to bible study. We went to the Calanan's home for the study and met all the New Brunswick brethren. Then Dad gave a talk about "The Apostle Paul and his Suit of Armor." It was very good, I liked it a lot, and the class seemed to appreciate it too. Afterwards we visited some more and then went home to the Gray's. I got to have my own room there which was nice and I got a great night's rest.
