We have finally arrived here in
Sorrento. It has only taken us 6 hours to get here when it should have only taken 3! As usual we got lost. I think we really need to invest in a good map. Although we did go quite a bit out of our way to get here from Rome, it was kind of a blessing in disguise, as we got to experience the 50km of
Amalfi coast. It was absolutely incredible. The scenery from every angle was mind blowing, as was the drive to get here. The roads along the coast have incredible twists and turns, and it took over an hour just to drive 30kms because of the roads. On top of the turns, the roads are extremely narrow and everybody parks along the sides to get down to the beach, which then makes the roads even narrower. By the time we got to
Sorrento, George and I were mentally exhausted from the trip. We both had to have our eyes glued to the road the whole time, which was a bit of a shame because we couldn't take in all of the beautiful coast line. We have found a pretty cute camping ground to stay at which is just a short walk to the city centre. Hopefully we will sleep okay seeing as we don't have any sleeping mats as yet to put down in the tent!

Dear Ses and George,
Well, it sounds like you guys are having a fantastic time!!! I would have loved to speak to you tonight but as it was it took us about 3 hrs to work out what had gone wrong with Skype. Hopefully next time you call it will work!!!
