I finally got to go to Tivoli, but thanks to certain lame republicans (coughprashantcough) I didn't actually get to ride anything.  Apparently they were "sissy" rides despite having the talling swings ride in the world, perhaps the biggest steel coaster in europe and the oldest coaster in operation anywhere in the world.  Don't worry...I will ride them eventually.

We didn't really do much (as I said, Prashant=super lame) but I did get this awesome picture with a cow.  They have decorated cows all over the place...kinda like what they did in Chicago.  A little Danish girl also decided to pose for the picture.

Luckily, I went back to Tivoli later than night for a field study seeing a pantomime play of the Hans Christian Andersen story, the Timberbox.  Pantomime plays are basically a short, ADD, funny version of ballet.  It was held on a really cool outdoor stage that looked like a peacock.

Costumes were designed by the queen of Denmark.    The story was taken quite literally.  A line in the fairytale describes a dog whose eyes were the size of the round tower.  If you look closely, you'll realize his bulging eyes look exactly like the round tower.
