Well folks my time in Sydney is almost up. I've decided to take a bit of a detour on my way back to Perth through Bali and Lombok. So 19 days of travelling around the two islands should get the travel bug out of me just long enough so I can settle down and get a job in Perth for a few months.
So my last few weeks in Sydney have been pretty good. I climbed to Sydney Harbour Bridge last week, which was awesome. I picked a great day to do it, there wasn't a cloud in the sky so you could see for miles and there was a bit of wind so you didn't feel like you were going to die from heat exhustation. The only thing that put me off of doing it last time was the fact that you can't take your own camera up, that and the fact I was skint of course!Anyway you still can't take your camera up but it was still worth it.
We hired a car the next week for a day and headed up to Plam Beach better know as Summer Bay! We had a walk around and saw some of the places where they film including the surf club! They were filming when we went although we never saw any cast members, so we don;t actually think it was home and away they were filming but never mind. That night we drove down to Botany Bay where Captain Cook first landed in Aus and had a lovely seafood feast. The next day Emma and I took the car back and headed down to Jervis Bay to visit some friends of hers. We had a lovley swin in the sea which was v. warm and had a BBQ for dinner. The next day we went out on Scotty's motorbike which was awesome. And mum I def want one now!!
Sam and I went to Jamberoo yesterday, which is a waterpark in the middle of nowhere, with a few friends. It was a nice escape from the 40 degree heat!
So I'm just chilling out in Sydney for the next couple of days before I head over to Bali.
Hope all is well at home.
Miss you Sarah Xxxx
