August the 15th to the 21st. I managed to get 6 days off work to go to Cornwall with Lily and Poppy his daughters. His parents have a carvan near Newquay and his mum goes for the whole of the school holidays each year. Dave had planned to go for the whole 2 weeks he had the girls but ended up having them stay at my place for the rest of their holiday.

We drove down but via his cousins Trudy in London to swop my fiesta for her slightly bigger car. It was a long night's journey. The girls watched films on their portable DVD players and then slept. We arrived around 2am
