So we have been keeping busy with the millions of things to do around here. While we were in Queenstown, Will and I went jet boating... which was pretty fun. The boat has 750 hp and goes like mad!! A few times I had to close my eyes and hold on to the bars for my life!! We were sooooo close to trees on the side of the river, huge rock outcroppings and the beach. Its a flat bottom boat so it can fun in less then a few inches of water!! It got the heart pumping thats for sure.
Speaking of getting the heart pumping.... the Queenstown area is home to the first Bungy jumping zone and world class skydiving..... so you never know when we may be crazy enough to do that!
Will and Wes and I hiked up a small mountain to an unbelievable viewpoint of Queenstown. There is a gondola that goes to the top but we saved our self the $25 and got a workout at the same time. We did it in the evening, right before sunset so it was quite nice!
Spending a few days now in Wanaka, about an hour from Queenstown. Its on a lake too and its much smaller and quieter of a town. We were inquiring about getting jobs here, but apparently they are non existant this time of the year.... so maybe somewhere else will work out better.
Will bought a fishing rod and Wes already has his fly fishing gear here, so they are currently trying to catch us our dinner! There are tons of little spots on the river so hopefully the fishing pros can catch something!

HI guys
Auntie Lynn here. I signed in as your Mum. Wonderful to read about your trip. We also loved Queenstown when we were there. Did you take the ferry down the lake to the sheep farm for tea? Do they still do that trip? We really enjoyed that.
Were you able to reach Cassie?
Life here is good. Had a wonderful reunion with your parents on the weekend. I enjoyed seeing all of your Mums purchases.
Are you finding New Zealand expensive?
Travel safely. Love A. Lynn
