10 hour drive to the Thai border. Although we had been dreading this, it ended up being one of our highlights. Route6 has to have some of the worst (but fun!) roads you'll ever come across; flooding, potholes and lots and lots of dust. We travelled in the back of pick-up trucks and bounced along for hours, getting covered in orange war paint. At one point, there was a storm which was fun, and a lorry nearly tipped over.
