München! We enjoyed gobs of excellent German beer and food. We can't figure out how people eat all this delicous but quite heavy food! Maybe they only have one meal a day?
We enjoyed wandering a bit in Munich. It feels older than Berlin and there are lots of folks in Bavarian costume. We saw a cuckoo clock show in Marien Platz with nearly life size figures and lovely bing bang glockenspiels.
The Deutsches Museum looks like just another museum on the front but its truly remarkable - how many other museums have track each step in quantum physics over the last 100 years? Or let you walk into a mock up of a nuclear reactor? Or showcase 100 years of textile machines? :) While not everything is in English, and some of the exhibits are broken, the overall experience is second to no other science museum!
Our next stop is Stuttgart, hopefully it has a few fun sights. We are also going to meet someone from the company where Graham is interning this fall, woo!
