We woke very early and Ursula- the owner of the hostel drove us to NOMADS departure point on Greenmarket Square. The bus was like a small truck. We had to pay in the office, have coffee and then climb aboard. There were many other travellers:

Richard-UK, Kiteboarder/ nurse
Sung-hee-S Korea, Student
Lourens-Sth Africa, Actuary
Anna- Sweden, Stock control
Patricia-Sweden, Stock control
Dana-Canada, Teacher
Trevor-Canada, Teacher
Jules-Irish, Landscape gardener
John-UK, Landscape gardener
Austin-California, Wine maker
Nicole-Holland, Student doctor
Kat-Germany, Finance
Anke-Germany, Tv producer for Pop Idol
Elizabeth-Austria,
Anne-Germany, Special needs worker
Markus-Germany, Psychologist
Babel-Germany, Physiotherapist
and Bernie our guide with his nephew Patrick who was the cook. Wil was our driver.
So our first stop was Blauberg. We were able to take amazing pictures of Table Mountain and the bay. Blauberg was very windy! This was the place that Richard learnt how to kite-board. We stopped at the supermarket to stock up on food for the trip. It was Easter Sunday so most of the shops were closed.
Then we travelled to the Cederberg Mountains and put up our safari tents for the 1st time. The hostel where we were staying was set amongst vineyards. We had cold hotdogs for lunch and then did a small hike up the hill to view the vines.
