Thank you all for your support, both through your prayers and through financial giving. I really appreciate what you have done to help make these last couple of months such an amazing experience. It was encouraging to know that you were here in the States, remembering me in prayer. God was faithful.
I learned so much about the Body of Christ through this experience! I saw it in action many times - in Papua New Guinean Christians, in fellow Discovery students, in the SIL and Wycliffe members in PNG, and in your commitment to me. God gave me a taste of how rich life can be when working together as his family, loving each other, and putting others first. It is easy, at least for me, to do things on my own, in my own way and in my own timing. But I saw that the experience is much deeper when working together with others.
Another thing that I realised more deeply is how proud I am to by a Wycliffe kid :o). I got to see a little more deeply into the diverse work of Wycliffe in PNG. It is wonderful to see what God is doing there, and I am thankful that he is choosing to use us to be a part of that work.
PS: Please continue to pray for me and for my family. Dad and Mom are moving to Wycliffe USA's headquarters in Orlando, Florida. And me? well... I don't know yet!
PPS: SIL PNG is starting a new initiative called Serve in PNG. It is a one to two year commitment, and people can be involved in various aspects of the work, including computers, literacy, discipling Papua New Guineans in how to used their vernacular Bibles and apply the Scriptures to all aspects of life, and much more. If any of you are interested in something like that, and you would like to learn any more about it, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
