I went back to Ueberlingen for the weekend, which is where I went on exchange for two months when I was 16. Seeing my host family after so long was really cool, such a blast from the past! We explored Ueberlingen, went shopping in Constance, I got my hair dyed (I don't trust Italians to dye hair blonde), and hung out like old times. One night we wanted to party so we went on a drive to the club… in AUSTRIA! Ueberlingen is so close to the border that it was only a 45 minute drive and really cool to make the trip! We went to the movies one night to see Valentines Day, it was in German but my german had slowly come back by this point so I was able to understand most of the movie. We went out for dinner one night and for the first time in months I got to eat steak! It was really good. Saying bye to my host family again was a bit sad but hopefully it wont be so long before my next visit.
