Where I stayed
10:31am Central Park
Central Park is sooo beautiful! after getting off the subwy at 59th street and seeing all the amazing high rise buildings, I walked along the street a short way to find myself at the south west corner of central part. As soon as I walked into the park the noise and hustle bustle of the city stops. It feels so peaceful here, even with the joggers and people excersizing everywhere. Its HUGE and so much to do just in Central Park! I could spend all day here, I love it!.
11.19am
Ive taken lots of photos, seen the John Lennon memorial "strawberry fields" not much to see, but very peaceful, apart from a couple of rude Russians being loud and laughing and laying across the beautifull mosiac on the ground! It really annoyed me, I was gonna say something, but thought better of it as i was on my own! but i stood with my arms crossed shaking my head! I even looked at a woman next to me and said "thats really not funny" how disrepectuful!
I am now sat on on one ofd the many benches along "the mall" part of central park, a big wide walkway with beautiful trees either side, just had a new york hot dog! not amazing, but it filled a hole. A busker is playing a sax about 50 yards away! beautiful sound, and hes just played "strangers in the night"! simply gorgeous! I could just live in central park!
