London has charm and attraction of its on, very much unlike Rome or Paris. You have here buildings & monuments with same old architecture & outlook that you can call traditionally English. Westminster Abbey near House of Parliament stands majestically with history of its own. Trafalgar square is no doubt beautiful- famous still the more for pigeon feeding & tourists. I indeed enjoyed the boat trip from Westminster Bridge to London Bridge, where stands the famous Tower of London all along the Thames River. The underground railways are just superb. One can reach from one place to another within minutes - and they are comfortable & faster too. Even Metro network in Paris cannot go in line with London tube system. Walking all the way along Oxford Street down to Regent St., when I reached Piccadilly Circus - it was a different sight altogether. Surrounded by theatres, cinemas, restaurants & hotels the illumination all around was much fascinating. As the days close by so the smile on my face broadens - as I know how pleasant it will be meeting you. Tomorrow I leave for Vienna and would be in Istanbul the 3rd evening all in waiting to catch the charter to New Delhi.
Visited the following;
1. Queen's guards leaving Buckingham Palace, London
2. The Living Room of Shakespeare at Stratford upon Avon
3. House of Parliament, London
4. Buckingham Palace by night
