I'll preface this entry by saying that we were quite relaxed all day - not feeling the need to rush.  Andrew Bergen told us yesterday that we could have the motorhome for as long as we needed it, as his vacation plans had now changed and he no longer needed it on June 27th.  We are THRILLED at this turn of events.  Although we have already reserved a second motorhome for June 27 - July 4, we are quite happy to cancel, even though there is a cancellation fee.  It will make things so much simpler, not having to travel back and forth to/from Niagara Falls to pick-up and return the second motorhome.  It also means we can stay in Atlantic Canada for one week longer.  We now plan to return to Aylmer on July 4th, with our rental minivan.

The first order of business today was to figure out why we weren't getting power to the back of the motorhome.  The motorhome drove just fine, but there was a blown fuse or some other electrical problem somewhere.  We drove to a Canadian Tire parking lot, where Dennis gave the motorhome a good going-over... removing the battery, having it checked, going over wiring.  No success.  After lunch, we finally resorted to calling CAA, who gave us information that eventually let to an RV repair man.  He was able to diagnose and fix the problem within about 20 minutes!  PTL!!  Although most of the day had passed, we were happy to have the problem fixed, and made our way north-east in the general direction of Ottawa.  We stopped to camp for the night in Milford - just a bit southwest of Toronto.

The weather is c-c-c-cold and rainy ... but, repeat after me, "There is no such thing as bad weather ... just inappropriate clothing."  We have proper clothing, so the weather isn't bothering us.  We did have to boil the wieners instead of roast them over the campfire (haha - and you thought I was joking when I said it was hot dogs from here on in!) ... (hope Gary doesn't have to read this - I know the thought of boiled wieners will make his stomach turn).

There are showers at this campground ... which I will soon be enjoying.  Ah - simple pleasures.  Then, we'll get to bed early, and hopefully get an early start tomorrow.  It's Simone's 10th birthday tomorrow (22nd), and we'd like to do something special.  Since we won't be spending time in T.O. at the end of our trip, we'll try to find something neat to do with her in Toronto tomorrow ... hmmm, wonder if there are any neat things to do in Toronto .... ?
