Left Montanita last night with the bus to Guayaquil and its quite amazing how cool the bus was, almost no people at all...lots of space, comfortable...so apart from loud blastic shooting movies everything else was just great and cost only 5$....

Got picked up by Kahyda, girl from Coachsurfing and even though it was a bit chaotic and crazy in her house because besides me she also had a polish couple and an italian guy staying over...it was great fun, we went out and met bunch of other coachsurfing people...later went dancing....and got back quite late...in the morning I had agreed to go to see a bit of the city with french guy Nicolas, who is doing his one year bike S. America thing and we both were very positively surprised how nice the waterwfront was - Malecon and Las Pinas, very pretty...had a bit hard time finding breakfast in the morning but afterwards it was a good one and I tried something quite Ecuadorian, mize bread with cheese inside...rather good actually...was called Tortilla de verde or something like that.

We went to see the Museum of Arte Contemprorana and it was super nice, great collection, nice layout , well organised, nice music inside...really....its build almost in a shape of ship and it was kind of cool the viewpoint to the river in one of the corners....
Anyway I am glad I did the detour through Guayaquil despite all warnings of how dangerous it was and how not nice the city is and everything else...in the park in front of the cathedral there are actually life Iguanas just walking all over the place...that was AMAZING, given that I never seen one before in my life....
Took a flight back to Quito and am leaving back to Europe tonight, having layover in Atlanta for 12hr and hoping to meet Michelle from Coachsurfing to do some shopping or something like that...
I miss the guys in Manta and just wish had had more time there to do even more kitesurfing...was so much fun....well, next time...
