We landed in Denver with thunder storms all around us and watched a phenomenal lightening display as we waited for the shuttle to take us to the car rental place. We got rained on off and on during our drive to Beaver Creek, pretty much in the same spots we got snowed on at Christmas. Luckily we had clear skies for our dinner stop in Idaho Springs...best BBQ ever at Smokin' Yard's BBQ!
