Long travel day. Not very luxurious ride. Watched the foothills. Turn into mountains. The rain started pouring down as we approached the town. Fortunately we had our own little shuttlebus picking us up and taking us to our cute little chalet B&B.

Everyone was tired from a long day of travel and arranging the rooms and getting keys for 17 people always takes time. Our room was cute and we're happy to have a hot water pot and a little refrigerator in the room.

We always have a little bit of time to get settled into the room and then off we go to tour the town with Todd in the lead & us all the important details. Here, we learned about an architect who develop the Zacopane style of architecture and then we went to the most interesting and beautiful cemetery I've ever been to.

Zacopane is a ski town; tomorrow with our plan is to take the tram to the top of the mountain and hiked down.

Todd is great at arranging group dinners for us in every location. Since it was raining, we decided to just go to the dinner place early, have a drink, and chill out while some of the younger ones walked around the town.

Dinner was interesting. Wild touristy place. Most had dumplings and beer sampler. Just as we were leaving, this wild hairy guy came in and we all had to have a photo with him. He wanted to kiss me and then gave me a copy of his book (in Polish).

Well, that was enough excitement for one night. I headed back to go to bed. Big day tomorrow!
