I have been seeing A LOT OF ROCKS in the last couple of days. It's hard to put into words how big everything is here. American people are bigger, their cars are bigger, their hamburgers are bigger, the buidings are bigger. But so are the ROCKS. So many rocks!

We've been up to Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Monument Valley Tribal Monument, Natural Bridges National Monument, Capitol Reef National Park. Other scheduled stops over the next week are at Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, Glen Canyon Ntional Recreation Area, and the icing on the cake, Grand Canyon National Park.

Geology has never been so interesting! Look these places up on Google, salivate for a bit, then buy a ticket over here to see them because they need to be seen. We are talking about huge, strange, breathtaking rock formations.

Tim knows this area so well. He's been hiking here for sixty years. We're travelling by campervan, but doing quite a bit of walkng and mountain biking too.

This place is amazing!
