So today was excursion day to Boca de Yuma. A small coastal town south of Higuey and about an hour and a half from our Villa. Again, because of Yves we traveled where NO tourist go. The restaurant was something mostly locals eat at or Dominican tourist. We traveled through some villages VERY remote and WAY OFF the beaten path. We visited and swam in a local water cave totally cool. Stopped at a Dominican friends of Yves and learned about what Dominicans grow and eat. We had drinks at a local "car wash"....lol...remember what I said about car washes lol??? And then another nice dinner later before turning in. Enjoy the pics more to come from Pam too!
