We went into Nadi town centre for supplies before heading out to Natadola Beach. On the way we travel along a gravel road through villages and sugar cane fields, the corner stone of every diet, and then arrive at Natadola beach which is one of the top 10 beaches in the world!! It was absolutely stunning, the sea was like bath water and so calm and clear. So we chilled out here for a while, swimming, lazing and enjoying a lunchtime BBQ and volleyball game.

Next we continue to the village of Malo-Malo where we are shown around and check out a traditional bure (kind of a big straw hall). It was put together using only traditional methods and local materials and sits on a foundation of coral much higher than the rest of the surrounding village. To date this structure has survived 7 cyclones and not a single nail was used in construction.

Then we go to Sigatoka Sand dunes for some yeehaa sandboarding! A very steep slope we went zipping down on our bellies tearing up the sand! Once we'd all got a mouthful of the gritty stuff we headed onto Coral Coast and our accomodation which was a long dorm of 2 rows of beds draped in mosquito nets.
