En route to our next destination we stopped at a zorbing spot! Basically jumped into a huge blow up ball with a load of water and a few other people and then they push you down a big hill. AWESOME fun! Attempted to stand up and run like a hamster in its ball but failed miserably and resulted in lots of rolling round and colliding into each other. And many screams.

Once the world had stopped spinning and we were a little dried off we made it to Brisbane, the capital of Qeensland. So its essentially a really big city and very busy. Good hostel though (apart from the ancient lift which we got stuck in everytime) and a cool bar in the basement serving tasty dinners and huge jugs of beer for 3 quid. Uh oh. Downside is there was a big fat german guy in our room on the bunk above me and he snored like a f***in whale! He kept me awake for so long and a really gross noise as well, like he was choking on his chins.

Headed to South Bank where they've made a sort of lagoon artificial beach thing with sea, sand and pretty trees around it a bit like an oasis in the city. Also cool rocks to play on (yes I am 6 years old)

Spotted some bats in the evening and there was a brief storm with some amazing lightening. Could see all the bright forky bits against the black sky.
