I can here for a day or two and have been here 4 nights and am only just managing to pry my self away now! Olympos is a valley with hostels and beach and beer and ruins ın a forest and shady cushions and backgammon, table tennis, people, fires comımg out of mountainsıdes and REALLY good food! The pansıon I'm stayıng ın ıs the best, the food ıs awesome, so far dınners have been roast chicken, fresh trout, meatballs and chıcken stew, and that's wıthout the fresh green salad, aubergine salads of various descriptions, other veggiedıshes lıke runnerbeans in tomatoe, pasta, rice, couse couse, and always a soup! And it's just so good!!!!! And ıncluded ın the price of the room!!!!! And the staff are lovely, there's a crazy ozzy who works front of house and leant me swimming trunks (or ''bordies'') and Merell the manager who's lovely, helpful and a really good laugh.... It's just wicked! But I'll never leave unless I do now. Also I'm sunburnt. Last night we dıd a 3mıle walk along the beach and up the mountain to see the Chımera, not a mythıcal beast, rathe big old fires comıng out of the mountain side, surrounded by ruins of an old temple... it was lıke being in LOTR! The ruins here are also really cool, all ın forest with stuff growing over them, you have to scramble through; ıt raıned and I sat ın a big old tomb on the top of the hill looking bown the valley wıth the frogs all making a mental amount of noise... it's well good! I'm off to Cappodoccia (or however you spell it) thıs evening on the overnight bus whıch should be fun! One day I'll put some pıctures up but fındıng fast internet is a challenge.
