Samantha - Can't remember if we wrote this in our last blog, however, the car that we have hired is an enormous station wagon (estate) with a 4 litre engine! We also have an airbed in the back, should we need to sleep in it. I am petrified of driving it, but for safety reasons I must!
We arrived in the Blue Mountains in the evening so just checked-into a hostel in
Katoomba and spent the evening there. Early the next morning we went to two viewing points looking over the Three Sisters and the Jamison Valley. The views were really breathtaking and it was sort of like the Grand Canyon but with trees and on a smaller scale.
We spent the rest of the morning driving around the National Park and by lunch time we were well on our way to
Forster-Tuncurry. Bit of short stop in the Blue Mountains but definitely worth it.
