Today was a pretty mellow day. We had class in the morning for a couple of hours. We went over code breaking during World War II, as well as game theory topics that had to do with decision making during the war. Game theory is by far my favorite part of economics. If anyone reading this is interested in learning more about it, I would suggest reading Game Theory in Everyday Life by Dr. Len Fisher, it's a great book! And you don't have to have a background in economics to enjoy it.

We went to a very quaint pub today for lunch. I can't remember what it's called right now (I have to do these entries in the hotel lobby because we don't get wireless internet in our rooms), but I will upload a picture later on tonight. It was full of old men drinking beer and wearing pea-coats ... pretty typical for London. After that we were free to do what we wanted, so I took a brief nap because I'm still not used to this new time zone yet, haha. Then I went to the British Museum for a second time because the first time I was not able to see everything. It's a free museum, so I figured, why not? I decided that I didn't want to go to the wax museum because it was too expensive and I wasn't even sure if it would be open. I didn't take many pictures at the British museum today, sorry :( But I did see a lot of cool mummies. Even mummified cats! I thought of my own cat, Ben. I think I would like to mummify him when he dies, hopefully not for another 10 years though. Benny would have been a great Egyptian royal cat because he is so cuddly, but he also has an attitude. I miss him a lot.

I've decided that I don't want to go to graduate school here because it is way too expensive. I would go bankrupt within a month for sure. I also would never be able to drive anywhere. I'll just stay in the United States for now :)

Tomorrow we are going to Bletchley Park, which is the site of the UK's main decryption establishment. It pretty much housed a bunch of really smart mathematicians and statisticians who worked to decode the German's secret code used during WW2. This topic has been my favorite part of the class so far. I am excited for tomorrow. I will take pictures, I promise!
