Yay, I woke up to the sunniest day I have seen in ages, it was already 20 degrees so it was going to be a great day!

Sea World was the order of the day. I do have to admit though, this wasn't my idea, those of you that know me, are aware, or should be aware of my lack of excitement when it comes to visiting these types of places, I'm just not a massive fan of animals to be honest, but as I'm not travelling on my own consideration and compromise needs to happen, and as Rachael wanted to go, I stopped being an animal hating bitch for the day and went with her!

We jumped on the free shuttle the hotel provides and we were soon at the parks gates, I forgot how big this place actually is, we got in the queue to pick up our tickets - you got money off if you booked on advance so we did that before we left! It turns out we were in the wrong queue, and thankfully a man pointed us in the right direction before we could make a massive mistake - and we were soon in the correct line. The one where you just got your tickets scanned and your bags checked... this is getting stupid now all this security - no one is going to blow up sea world - get over yourselves!!!

Our first stop of the day was at a pool of baby Dolphins where Rach ooohhed and aaahhhed and I tried to not look bored, I think I was successful but you would have to check with her about that! after a quick glance at our maps we saw that the new 'Shamu' show 'Believe' was about to start - so we headed over to where the stadium was situated... we managed to get pretty good seats... high enough not to get wet but close enough to not need to watch the big screens. I'm really glad that I wasn't at the front though, as they got bloody soaked!!!

The show was really good, even for one such as myself who is not a fan of animals!!! Shamu himself isn't here, he's at one of the other sites, but the rest of the killer whales are his "family" but as I dout he has breeded in captivity I am sceptical about that! Its amazing isn't it how the trainers get the animals to perform the tricks they do, I don't really know how I feel about it to be fair...

Rachael fed some baby rays (Manta Rays I think), but she kept getting really freaked out when they would come near here... it was quite funny. They have other animals at SW too - I even saw a massive Polar Bear, but I guess they do live in the sea partly??? they even have rides here which I don't remember from when we came when I was younger... but maybe they weren't here then?

We went on the 'Journey to Atlantis' which is a massive log flume ride, and we got soaked! we thought it was a bit weird though as the people getting off after us were pretty dry. We soon found out why we were soaked and it had nothing to do with the ride but with the spectators... they had these little coin operated machines around the edge of the viewing area where if you put 25c in them they would shoot a jet of water from a gun thing near the ride.... how annoying! I was wet for the rest of the day!

We saw loads of other stuff, I can't remember it all, even I had a really good day, and we had the perfect weather for it too, neither too hot nor too cold, I'm dreading Disney tomorrow as it is meant to be really hot... we'll see
