We had caught the bus early in the morning so that we could stop off in Puno for the, the Peruvian side of the Lake, and do a tour to the floating Islands. When we got to the bus station we booked it with a lady there and headed into to town for lunch, the tour wasnt until 3.45.
We waited in the terminal to be picked up for our tour, and when it got to being half an hour late we began to think we had been stitched up. So I rang the number on our ticket and they said they would be there in 5 minutes. Which there were. We then had a mad dash to the full and waiting boat.
The boat took us to the floating islands. They are amazing. They are literally made from reeds and floating in the water which whole communities live on.
So after doing the tour we then got the overnight bus up to Cusco.

overnight bus to cusco
Hi. Have a group of friends who will be arriving in Puno about the same time as you, and then going on to Cusco. What time does it leave Puno, and is it possible to book it beforehand? They are 15 people, so they don't really want to take the chance. Thanks.
