Hi everyone!!

Hope you are all well - welcome to our blog!

We have had a great time in New York - arrived late Sunday evening and checked into our hotel - the "Chelsea Inn". We have been non stop since then doing loads of touristy things like going up the Empire State building - Amazing! Bus tours (downtown, uptown and brooklyn), Ferry tour to Statue of Liberty, walked snowy central park and the brooklyn bridge! Our feet hurt now!
It has been really cold this week and there was a snow storm on Wednesday! It made the city look like a winter wonderland haha also went to the New York natural history museum and cinema to keep warm!

Found some really nice restaurants including "Nana's", "Mama's" and "Maoz" (Veggie food). Also went to Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square - Awesome - cocktails were wicked.
Today we went on a walking touir of the NBC studios at the rockefeller centre - and we are finishing our stay off with tortilla flats tonight - Mexican food and Margeritas! We also did a bit of celeb spotting - David Blaine on the subway! haha

Had an amazing start to the trip! Felt at home as the New Yorkers are really friendly and the hotel staff were really nice. Definately looking forward to the warmer weather in L.A and Vegas though! Our next flight is Sunday to Los Angeles for a couple of nights before Vegas!
Little fact for you: comes from Jesus our NY tour guide: SOHO stands for "South of Houston" - Sally has called me a geek for writing that but have to keep this educational :)
Sally is missing jacket potatoes already.

Love to hear from you all in emails or facebook with the latest from home!

Love from Sally and Sacha :D xx

Yeah man, this trip looks like it's started on the right foot. I so want to be sharing a slice of that pizza. Been lots of snow where I am in Warwick, but definitely more where you guys are. You have to walk into the street, make a car stop and go 'HEY! I'm walking here'. Don't injure yourself though. Do it with boldly but with adequate caution.

Hello you two - how is Vegas - a bit warmer than New York I hope!! Thinking of you both lots and wondering what you are doing - I've bored everyone at work with your photos and my constant updating them on where you are ha ha! Anyway, keep up the good work and can't wait to see some more photos. luv Mum x

Just thought I'd say I'd much rather be here sending you a message than enjoying myself on a world tour. Not missing you in the slightest.

Yeah Ok I'm a lousy liar!!!

Hurry up with the next instalment.

Love you lots.

Hi Sal and Sach
We can see by the pics you are both having a great time, isn't Central Park just great? Have a great time on the west coast, enjoy every minute as time goes too quickly. All our love.
