banos is a small town set in huge, lush green mountains, full of tourists from around the world. there�s heaps to do here......treking, horse-riding, canoning....unfortunately both kel and i were struck down by a hidious cold so spent 3 days here lying in bed moaning about how awful i felt. literally couldn�t do anything. however...........did get to see lava spewing out of the volcano at night.....very very very cool. (don�t worry mum they do have a nice old rickety evacuation bridge!).

lowlight - ecuador losing the football to england(but man the football fans still know how to party here even if they did lose). and heads up to the sole pommy in the pub who was brave enough to loudly loudly cheer england on in a pub full of drunk ecuadorians!
