the actual town itself is pretty non-descript. but the surrounds, including volcano cotopaxi are pretty breathtaking. AND I did have what would have to have been one of the best meals iīve had in south america there........kel and i just wondered into this friendly looking place for a beer or 2 and on the menu they had vegie burritos!!!!!! so good i even ate the guacamoli!
went on a guided walk to cotopaxi but too many clouds and a lot of rain so couldnīt see the volcano. and went to the saquisili markets.....which were so good that i actually bought stuff (which iīm now lugging around with me).....gradually getting the art of bargaining too.
and after ecuador lost the football we thought it was time to move on...........
