The 'hurricane' turned out to be nothing much - at least not where we were. We waited a day and let it blow over anyway.
Paid lots of $$ to visit the Kennedy Space Centre, but worth it. Got to see the shuttle waiting to be launched on July 1, from some distance. Walked around Saturn V, saw the command centre for the Saturn missions, and the International Space Centre in preparation. Also saw and went into an 'old' shuttle. Amazing to see that stuff up close. Now in St Augustine, the oldest city in the US, founded by the Spaniards in the 16th century. Passed by Daytona on the way. They still drive around on the beach where all the racing started.
